China hair bands made from used condoms

It make me wonder how creative they are turning those stuff into something that are really usefull. At same time I googled and found out the same story had been reported by AFP(Nov 2007). that “People could be infected with AIDS, (genital) warts or other diseases if they hold the rubber bands or strings in their mouths while waving their hair into plaits or buns.”  and had been sold as cheap as 50 fen (USD 0.03) for a bag of ten.

So boys and girls, you better watch out!

Engineer

This is something I like to share to all engineers out there…
The LIABILITY of the ENGINEER compared to men of other PROFESSIONS is that his works are OUT in the open where ALL can see them. His ACTS, step by step, are in hard substance.
He CANNOT bury his mistakes in the grave like the DOCTORS.
He CANNOT then argue into thin air or blame the judge like the LAWYERS.
He CANNOT, cover his failures with trees and vines like the ARCHITECTS.
He CANNOT, screen his shortcomings by blaming his opponents and hope people will forget like the POLITICIANS.
The ENGINEER simply CANNOT deny he did it.
If his works DO NOT WORK,
he is DAMNED
On the other hand…
Unlike DOCTORS, he is NOT a life among the weak.
Unlike the SOLDIERS, destruction is NOT his purpose.
Unlike the LAWYERS, quarrels are NOT his daily bread.
To the ENGINEER falls the job of clothing the bare bones of SCIENCE with life, comfort and hope.
NO DOUBT as years go by, people FORGET which ENGINEER did it even if they ever knew.
Or some POLITICIANS put his name on it.
Or they credit it to some PROMOTER who use other peoples’ money…
But the ENGINEER himself looks back at the unending stream of GOODNES, which flows from his SUCCESESS with satisfaction that FEW professions know, and the verdict of his fellow professionals is all the allocade he wants.

Different Things Motivate Different People

Internal motivation comes from within, such as pride, a sense of Internal motivation comes from within, such as pride, a sense of achievement, responsibility and belief. There was a young boy who used to come for regular practice but always played in the reserves and never made it to the soccer eleven. While he was practicing, his father used to sit at the far end, waiting for him.

The matches had started and for four days, he didn’t show up for
practice or the quarter or semifinals. All of a sudden he showed up for
the finals, went to the coach and said, “Coach, you have always kept me
in the reserves and never let me play in the finals. But today, please
let me play.”

The coach said, “Son, I’m sorry, I can’t let you. There are betterh said, “Son, I’m sorry, I can’t let you. There are better players than you and besides, it is the finals, the reputation of the school is at stake and I caschool is at stake and I cannot take a chance.” The boy pleaded, “Coach,

I promise I will not let you down. I beg of you, please let me play.”
The coach had never seen the boy plead like this before. He said, “OK,
son, go, play. But remember, I am going against my better judgment and
the reputation of the school is at stake. Don’t let me down.” The game
started and the boy played like a house on fire. Every time he got the
ball, he Shot a goal. Needless to say, he was the best player and the
star of the game. His team had a spectacular win. When the game
finished, the coach went up to him and said, “Son, how could I have been
so wrong in my life. I have never seen you play like this before. What
happened?

How did you play so well?” The boy replied, “Coach, my father is
watching me today.”

The coach turned around and looked at the place where the boy’s father
used to sit. There was no one there. He said, “Son, your father used to
sit there when you came for practice, but I don’t see anyone there
today.” The boy replied, “Coach, there is something I never told you. My
father was blind. Just four days ago, he died. Today is the first day he
is watching me from above.”

Internal Motivation

Internal motivation is the inner gratification, not for success or
winning, but for the Fulfillment that comes from having done it. It is a
feeling of accomplishment, rather than just achieving a goal.
